This book may open up new ideas and avenues for them to explore, and it may make the fundamental role of Christianity more understandable and attainable. It is clear that not everyone will agree with this book or the ideas it puts forth. It crystallized some of the ideas I have often felt about religion, and opened up new avenues to explore in Catholic doctrine and dogma. I had to wonder when I finished reading, where is the "David" who is waiting to recreate the Catholic Church, and when will he get his opportunity to make a difference in the Church and in the world?
